The “Skill” series classes run for about 1 hour and covers more in-depth skill developing.
To attend this class, it is required that you have previously taken our “Basics” welding course or have attended a previous “Make” welding class within one year. The basic class covers basic safety and operations of tool and/or equipment instruction, which can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/basics-welding-tickets-140953342241
Attending this intermediate class will further develop techniques and welding skills as coached by Daniel Scheper of Elite Welding and Design. Attendees will learn tricks and methods to improve their welding capabilities and how to finish their work to achieve the desired look. The focus of this class is tungsten inert gas welding or TIG welding.
NOTE: As a “skill” class, this means that no projects will be made to take home. This is purely a skill building course. We highly encourage you to bring your own project! If you would like to bring in your own project, you must send us details of the metal at least 5 days prior to the day of instruction for approval. Class fee includes all materials for this class.
If you would like to make your own project to take home, check out the “Make” series here: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/make-series-63689
