This class will introduce you to the resin 3D printers (SLA) and the Nylon Fuse 3D printer (SLS) and show you how to safely print using the Preform slicer software.
The Basics series classes run about one hour to 1.5 hours and cover basic safety and operations of tool and/or equipment instruction. This will provide all the information needed to be certified on using the equipment at the MakerSpace. For more in-depth project based hands-on instruction, we offer workshops and one-on-one mentoring.
Basic classes are always free for makerspace members. Individuals are welcome to sign up for multiple Basics classes until they feel confident on the equipment.

* Waivers must be signed before class. Can be done in person at the front desk.
Class refund policy:
– 7 calendar days or more before the class start date: Refunds will be given, minus a 10% service fee (Eventbrite fees non-refundable)
– 6 calendar days to 2 days before class start date: Refunds, minus a 10% service fee, will be issued in the form of a credit voucher to be applied to a future offering within 1-year of the issue date.
– No refunds issued within 48 hours of any class offering.
